I've been listening to 20000 leagues under the sea on libravox.Not that far in, and it took a few chapters to really get into it. Jules Vern really likes his nautical industrial terminology porn.
It's also rather slashable. As in master and devoted servant life saving and aquatic stripping.

sadly Connotations is over for another year. It's that odd bit after a con where I'm both really happy because inc had a great time, anxious to get home and track down all the awesome things people have introduced me to and to catch up on fix reading, yet really sad about having to go back to real life again ( Read more... ) -

Apparently, my parents live in owl land.
Since arriving for a visit on Friday I have seen 5 wild barn owls.
This is 5 more wild barn owls that I have ever seen anywhere before. -

The trouble with the internets, is that it's very easy to just buy something. If you want it, you are likely to go and look at the product page frequently. And if you look at the product page often enough, eventually you are likely to just go 'what the hell' and click that buy button.
