Apparently, my parents live in owl land.

Since arriving for a visit on Friday I have seen 5 wild barn owls.

This is 5 more wild barn owls that I have ever seen anywhere before.

Heh, we just found three Yorkshire Puddings buried in the dog's basket.

For some reason our dog, instead of eating them like she does with everything else, treats Yorkshire Puddings like puppies. But then our dog is the size, shape, colour and mental equivalent of an enthusiastic breeze block.

So, most of this week has been an exercise in coursework panic. In fact most of the last two or three weeks have been exercises in coursework panic (as possibly noted by my non-existence at... well pretty much every thing).

So, you know how in cartoons when it's raining and a person gets drenched by a car going through a puddle? As in head to toe sprayage? Yeah? Well I found out today that that actually happens.

Last night I cooked Back of the cupboard curry for my family. I was going to be chilli, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE CHILLI POWDER! How do they live... Still, they seemed to like it.
