Hey guys, my boyfriend is a rap musician. Here is he with his co-rap musician Professor Fizizizt and DJ One-word.

They're called Garden Fresh. I'm pretty proud of them.

Last night I made these granola bar type things with apple butter, oatmeal, coconut and other things. They came out of the oven really really soft and I was a little disappointed. But I put them in the fridge over night and holy shit are they good :O

Fitting into summer dresses that the Ellen that existed last year would have never been able to fit into. Pretty awesome!

Also, I'm gonna learn to ride a bike this summer!

Also, life is pretty happy. I keep meeting all of these really nice people that are in love with the city they live in. It's fairly contagious.

Also: I finished reading Grendel on the plane. I wasn't thinking when I packed and the only other book I have with me is a rather large collection of children's stories. Readable, for sure, but not really compact in any way.

Must find a book store.

I have moved! My apartment is the most gorgeous thing. I have nice neighbors and a pretty garden to have fun in (I've picked out a stone bench that looks particularly nice for reading) and it took me all of two minutes to walk to Boulder Coffee this morning to get two large and delicious coffees. Went to my last Scientific Maps show while I'm living in the Albany area. They told us all about Miracles. Bought their new EP, which everyone should buy because you can get it on itunes. Holy holy holy. I looked at the South Wedge apartment today and it was fucking awesome. It's in an old schoolhouse with original wood floors and lofted ceilings and lots of storage areas and a beautiful garden area and it's totally walkable to fun stuff.
