Oh, my sympathies! The doctor had to enlarge my navel incision to remove my troubled ovary, and that sucker was a serious pain for much longer than the other incisions. I hope your recovery is quick.

When I had my right oovary removed, about 10 days later, I started walking every day. It really helped speed healing and a lot of gross junk came out of my vagina from the surgery, tissue and stringy stuff. I felt so much better after about a month. Drink lots of water, so you don't get a bladder/kidney infection from the catheter that was in ya!

I hope you heal quickly! Those abdomen wounds are the worst! It's really hard to not use those muscles when you pretty much use them for everything...

You go girl....I am having my right ovary removed in Aug.. I am very scared and nervous about all this. after reading your post you gave me a sense of hope and made me smile, your seem so confident..
