"I knew letting you out of the TARDIS was a bad idea!" snapped the Doctor as he and the Master ran as fast as they could from the authorities

"You truly call that asking?" The Doctor asks weaving themselves further onto the dance floor so as to blend in. After all they had to get away from those chasing them. Otherwise they'd probably be stuck in jail overnight if not longer. And that wasn't something he was ready to do.
"Oh, but I know it was from the heart. Both of them." he said, allowing himself to be led without causing a fuss. They both knew that their current predicament was due to his own antics and that measure of control in the events of the night thus far were enough to appease him.
"I do hope you actually remember how to dance." he said, serious then. "Or do I need to give you lessons again?"
Oh he was going to smack him the next chance he got. Though the moment he insinuated that he didn't remember how to dance those eyes narrowed. "Oh don't worry, Koschei, I remember how to dance." There was a lot he remembered how to do. Dancing was one of them.
He smoves out a bit more before taking a hold of the other Time Lord and pulling him almost impossibly close.
He bit back the smallest of growls at that. He really hated it when the Doctor used that name. It belonged to another life.
"Funny, because this is hardly the proximity for a proper waltz. Far too intimate." The Doctor always preferred being close, even during their lessons. He supposed some things never really changed.
He rolls his own eyes and shakes his head. "Move yours and I might." Though the Master gets pulled closer (if that's even possible) before the Doctor starts dancing. After all, you had to love songs that let you get close and comfortable. Not comfortable persay...
"Do I still need to lead after this long?" he raised a brow but moved along with him, following the Doctor's lead. He wasn't adverse to the closeness, but on the same token wasn't used to it. And comfortable? That was a laugh, he hadn't felt truly comfortable around the Doctor for a very long time.
"Of course this would be the time the sappy love song starts to play. This is not an excuse for you to have wandering hands, just so you know."
"Keep it up and I'll give you wandering hands, dear Master." He whispers in his ear. Oh he'd give him that and so much more. But right now they were just dancing. Nothing more than that. They didn't need to be doing more than that. Especially in the crowd that they were in. But they were concealed by the throng of people and that's all that mattered.
"And who says that's what I'd enjoy?" he asked, aiming for flippancy. Surely they hadn't been trapped in their mutual captivity for so long that he'd allowed his defenses to go down this noticeably. Of course he still bantered with the other Time Lord, who else would humor him?
Who else could actually keep up? Oh dear, at this rate a few more months would leave them positively domestic and that just wouldn't do.
"You try it and I'll break your fingers, dear Doctor." he mocked him on the last bit, voice a hushed whisper of his own.
