Just got through watching Blood+ 38, so now I'm finally up-to-date with the fansub releases. Now begins the long dry spell between subbed releases - which is kind of annoying, since it would be so nice to be able to keep level with the Japanese releases, like other subbers do for Holic and Nana... but eh, there's nothing I can really do about it, ( Read more... )

I am completely with you about Saya. I wasn't a huge fan in the first place, but at least she was a little sympathetic, even if she did whine a lot, and get Hagi impaled even more frequently. At least she wasn't an unfeeling bitch <<" And yes, she angsts! With musical accompaniment! lol, Cardboard Hagi - I'm suprised Kai didn't punch a hole in his head with a holepuncher and drag him off with a rope when he "borrowed" him...

I still demand to know what use Mao is (I mean, she's obviously not Okamura's sex toy...yet :P)

lol, yeah, the concert was a little anticlimactic - "OMG Diva's having a concert why? where? how? - wait--nevermind! PSYCH!" <<" I wanna see the Diva PV, though ^_^ (London really was rather pointless, wasn't it...)

Yay, Kari's a definite~ Eh, there can't be another more fitting role for Crispin, so he must voice Hagi! I know, poor David doesn't even warrant one of the bad familiar english VAs... ;-; The sorrow.

Unfortunately no, I think it's written into his contract that he must be impaled each and every battle. He should join a union.

I was never a big Saya fan either but I tried to cut her some slack (even though she did hilarious things like watch George bleed out on the pavement). I was wrong to do this and I now see the error of my ways. I hate the way she turns even the worst situations involving other characters into a pity-party for her; like when Riku died it was all about how it made HER feel, completely disregarding the fact that LOL EVERYBODY ELSE FELT LIKE SHIT TOO.

Hagi is too damn good for her, he should go and marry his cello before she asks him to get her a flower again.

"OMG Diva's having a concert why? where? how? - wait--nevermind! PSYCH!" - HAHAHAHA! That's exactly what happened! Except it didn't happen that quickly, it took half a dozen episodes before Diva was like "LOL, SCREW THIS" and everybody went fishing. The London arc was probably the most pointless one out of all the pointless arcs in this series- at least ( ... )

lol, I loved how she angsted over herself when she found out she cut off Hagi's arm in Vietnam~ she saw him like 15 min later and didn't even apologize or look guilty or anything (then again, I think the almighty KAI was there to distract her that time). That entire conversation with Joel made me realize how self-absorbed she was, besides being whiny and annoying "omg I massacred an entire village of innocent people-how will *I* live with all this PAIN ( ... )
