If any of my staff had behaved like that I would have taken them individually into the office for what we call in our handbook a 'counselling interview'.

This term is PC for 'stand-up you insensitive tw*ts don't you ever pull anything like that again b*llocking'.

This type of behaviour is actually covered under our 'treating others with respect' policy.

Relief worker talking about new adaptation of Tess of the D'urbervilles: Perhaps it's a comment about how rape and seduction are actually the same thing.

Same relief worker seeing a copy of the Pink Paper: Is that a local newspaper?
Me: No, it's a gay, lesbian and bisexual newspaper.
Her: Oh! I wouldn't have thought there would be much call for that round here.
Me: I think there's call for it everywhere *daggers*
