Despite the enthusiasm of the fans I've talked to online and in the real world, Ender fan participation on the internet seems surprisingly lacking, given the breadth of the universe and the complexity of the characters. I've been a member of Redwall, Animorphs, Dune, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Final Fantasy VII, Zelda, and Fullmetal Alchemist fandoms here and there.

Is the Ender fan community your primary fan community? If not, which is? I don't really have a primary fan community. It really depends on whatever happens to be the most active at any given time ( ... )

Do you read fanfiction or view fanart for the Ender series? Infrequently, but sometimes.

Do you write fanfiction or create fanart for the Ender series? I've tried illustrating various things from the series that I don't often see people draw, like the Pequeninos.

Do you actively support certain pairings/relationships in the Ender series? If so, please list them. It's weird... I used to be really into the whole slash thing, but the only pairings I support in the Ender series are the canon ones. I think Bean/Petra is probably my favorite.

Oh, I also forgot that I dressed my son up as Jayne from Firefly for Halloween too...and he'll be a Hobbit next year! Hmm..maybe I should plan on dressing him up at Bean in three years? :P
