I have a "twice burned, forever shy" friend who swore, after two marriages went disastrously wrong, that she was never going to do THAT again. But now she is. And I'm not assuming marriage is what you're referring to (I do remember you saying in college "Never!"), but there you go. Sometimes things finally feel right.
