Draco may have heard Amelia shrieking in the garden. It didn't wake him up, but his mind conjured an owl in his dreams.

Oh... my imagination went into overdrive hahaha. Because Harry "played along", and Draco was silent for a moment before he replied that "it simply wanted to screech". It had seemed to me like a very deliberate answer to something that he had an idea about, so I thought maybe he knew something.
