I don't really read Trunks/Goten fics, but it was the summary that caught me and made me want to take a look.

I feel bad for poor Goten having to take the wrath of his mother. She probably doesn't even mean to do it to him. I liked how Trunks completely understood him. I mean, if you've been around someone you like for such a long time then you are bound to know everything about them. Their relationship is very close, and I liked how Goten snuck a kiss in there. It was so cute.

Hopefully Goten will be alright in the future. He should probably tell his dad what's going on or something. But hopefully Chichi will get that he's a different person and not do it again.

Good job, I really enjoyed reading it!

Chichi is really unfortunate. She started out as the sweetest thing in Dragonball, but she married her emotional polar opposite. You can watch her decline, scene by scene, as her son and husband disappear, time and again, without word. Into battle. Into oblivion. Into death. She just doesn't get a break. And it doesn't help that Gokuu is so dismissive. Getting blown off and being taken granted for all the time, it's no wonder she eventually morphed into a fire-breathing she-beast. Yet she still manages to be devoted. If I were her, I would have divorced his ass years ago ( ... )

Something tells me that Goten went home and had a billion of those shirts printed soon after that.

The flattery is what got me the most. XD It strikes me as a uniquely Goten quality, the weedling and the sneakycute!

Moreover, though, the line, "Maybe when he was done, they could both be reborn in a new world, with new lives, as new people.", is the best piece in this entire fic. It likely sums up everything I've come to know about your Torankusu's inner desires, especially in one particular universe which shall go unnamed for the time being. (You know which one.)

OMG TRADEMARK TEENAGE GOTEN OUTFIT YEAH.

Goten's such a cute, polite kid. You'd never know the difference if he was trying to con you. It's just so easy to give in to whatever he wants. X3

I tell no lies: Torankusu is a frustrated young man. He's a natural born leader, but his entire life is comprised of being in everyone's shadow-his mother, his father, even himself. Trying to live up to everyone's expectations is going to burn him out and turn him into the lackluster lackey that we got in GT. So sad. (Which is why we need to fix. And yeah, I know which. ;3)

I was really just trying to kill two birds with one stone, by including the infamous GOTEN SON shirt. The boys brightened the story all by themselves. I think they just refuse to stay down, around each other-which is good. Because frankly, the angst was giving me a headache. This wasn't as much fun to write as I would have wanted, but that little pick-me-up at the end was very much appreciated. I'm glad you liked it too. :)
