I'm not much of an LJ figure.
I have a few friends and acquaintances I adore.
I'm guilty of going AWOL with the demands or depression of real life and am therefore very appreciative of the friends who welcome me back from my trips astray.

This happens all the time. They are trying to increase their business website's rank by linking to it everywhere. I used to get those and delete them from my biz website guestbook ALL the time.

'Tis an evil truth, but one I fortunately don't have to put up with by making it friends only.
I just wish I had a paid account so I didn't have to lock each past entry by hand . . .

Hey.

Hold your hands out - just like that. *pours huge amount of misprinted m&m's into your hands* Better?

I'm glad I was already on your friend list before you decided to lock up your LJ. No one's personal life should be used as a marketing tool. I shudder to think what creepy advertisements my LJ might generate....the latest advances in chicken feed or something? Perish the thought.

Good night, friend.

Howdy, dear!
I've purposely left this post open so that if there is anyone not on my friend's list who wishes to be, they can ask!
You'd definitely have been friended!

*tucks a store of m&m's in my cheeks like your icon's carrot*

Hmmm ... it IS a rather pathetic, not to mention inappropriate, way to try and drum up business. Reminds me of my sister in law who is an undertaker (really!)- according to her, there is NO type of marketing in her business, besides the yellow pages, that is considered appropriate.

Well, I was going to friend you.
Then I scampered over to peek at your LJ.
Dog enthusiast and therapy worker?
Eddie Izzard fan?
Served our country?!?
You're not just friended; you're adopted!
*friends you back*
