I'm so sorry my characters are all dicks to Snape :C buywithme October 2 2009, 23:25:16 UTC
...Comrade, don't we have... real medicines for those things?

Do you?

In that case, my services won't be needed and I can content myself with not doing the work my warden has assigned to me.

I'm just observing, Comrade, that at my last inventory of the Medical supplies, your function is presently obsolete.

Then I won't be nearly so busy as my warden imagines, will I?

I'm sure the Admiral can procure it without killing the beast. He's not that incompetent.

Really? God, I hope so. Arthur killed a unicorn once, and...

...never mind. It didn't go well, is what I'm saying. I did warn him.

Doesn't it...worry you a bit, talking about sorcery magic out in the open like that?

It's already been made public thanks to a series of books in which I figure heavily, and my warden insists my path to redemption involves providing magical aid to the infirmary.

There's no sense feigning ignorance now, is there?.

Thank you, Severus, I will pass it on to the Admiral.

Aconite has been phased out as a medical ingredient, and can easily be more harmful than beneficial. It would be best if you left it off your list.

I'll be going over the rest of the list, to be safe, and listing such things publicly. Hopefully, it will allow people to see that medical analysis is taking place, and ease some of their worries.

As I've stated, I'm also willing to serve as a test subject for these remedies, because no patient should be subjected to a treatment that a medical worker doesn't trust.

Essence of aconite, which is considerably less toxic, is integral as an ingredient to two of the four potions I've listed.

I will revise my list if you wish.

Then let's try it this way. I'll try the potions containing it when I serve as a test subject, and if it has any harmful effect on me, you will remove it. Does that work for you?

As you wish.
