[Chase sighs and plucks his daughter up again from the floor where she kept trying to sit. Placing her on the bed this time the Crow patiently pulls the straps back up on her romper, socks and shoes went on before she was allowed to get up and run around again.]

[He hadn't really...set a time. He just figured that Allen would arrive whenever he liked. And if Seren had happened to fall asleep between night fall and when the vampire arrived, it would've been alright. He would have just changed her into her pjs and tucked her in bed, then turned the monitor on. The nurse was staying in a room next door.

Hell no. He likes casual. He's wearing one of his nicer (read: cleaner) t-shirts under an unbuttoned dress shirt (not too fancy) and slacks.

A light knock followed by entering would be fine. But deactivating the talismans does just about the same thing, Chase notices they go down and again his heart is up in his throat with nervousness. He makes himself stop and close his eyes, taking a few deep breaths to calm down, Seren playing with Zane who is trying to sleep.

Chase glances at Allen, a small smile on his lips.] I asked her if she wanted ta go ta tha park 'nd she's been like this since then. Hope that's alright... [Seren gets up when she hears Allen's voice and runs over, hugging his leg

[Not broken. Just a bit banged up and in need of glue in some places. Allen would argue that there's a difference, and that Chase is one of the better held together people that he knows. Certainly more so than Lavi, or Vampvi...

Allen hums an acknowledgement, grabbing the ropes of the swing and carefully pulling back.]

Just say so if it's too high and I don't notice, okay?

[Then he lets the ropes go, starting off the swinging. And he'll gently push Chase's back when he swings towards him again to keep it going.]

[A lot of glue. xD At least enough to cushion his joints come winter so they don't ache and make him creak. Maybe it comes from having such a terrible childhood? He knows how to hold himself better because of it.

Chase nods and tightens his hold on Seren as they start to move. She laughs and giggles as if this is the best thing ever. At least Chase doesn't have very many back injuries.]

[Might need more putty for that than glue. That could certainly do it, and while it's horribly that it happened... Allen is grateful that it's made Chase stronger, more durable against things like this.

Allen's own smile widens considerably at that, and he continues pushing as needed, being careful to avoid all the spots that might be unpleasant for him to actually push on Chase's back. And he hums; Chase might recognize the tune. It's "you are my sunshine".]

[Whatever would help the most with the impending arthritis that he's inevitably going to get. Can't say he's looking forward to it either. It...would take a lot to break him down now. Which may or may not be a good thing in the end.

Chase even ends up chuckling a little though he lets Allen do the humming. Glancing down at Seren's head and kissing it, she pretty much Chase's sunshine and Allen the moon. If he were to be sappy for a short while.]

[Maybe not in the end. But right now, at least, it'll probably serve him well. While he's in the DR.

It's just light humming, he wouldn't mind if Chase joined in or interrupted with something else. But right now he's pretty content with things like this.]

[He'll need all the help! This winter will be fun...

Nah, he likes this just fine. Though it seems after a while, Seren starts to drop off. She was awake for a long while, not to mention the rocking motion of the swing easily drops her off as well as Allen's humming.

Softly:] Ya ken stop now, Allen. She's asleep.

Poor thing. Staying up this late just to see Allen... she must've been exhausted. He doesn't reply, worried that the continued swinging might wake her, so he hums a response and backs away and to the side to watch her and Chase just glide to a stop after a few moments. But he's smiling, expression light and gentle.]

Bring tha chair over, we ken set'er in it.

[He's not sure he can stand up with just one hand pulling himself up just yet. As for a blanket, Chase will take off his dress shirt and wrap her with it slowly.

Chase isn't quite ready to go back in himself.]

[Allen nods, going to unlock the wheel chair and push it over to where Chase is. Once he has Seren all wrapped up, Allen will offer to take her, and set her carefully in the chair. If not, then he'll just wheel it as close as possible and let Chase set her down.

...he'd like to stick around for awhile longer yet though, too.]

[Allen can put her in the chair, Chase will take the opportunity to get to his feet and shuffle a few steps away on his own until Allen joins him.]

There a tree ya wanna sit under fer a while?

[Then he will make sure she is all nice and cozy and tucked safely into the chair. Allen joins him soon enough, falling into step beside him and humming thoughtfully. He glances around, before gesturing to a large tree not far away, which neither has a great deal of shade or sunlight underneath it.] Does that look alright to you?

[He doesn't want to get too far away from Seren, she's still very important to him and he doesn't wanna lose sight of her. So this tree is in the best possible spot to watch her sleep. Taking Allen's hand.] Yeah, looks fine. [Leading him over.]

[It's one of the reasons that Allen picked it. No need to worry about moving the child, they could let her rest while having a moment to themselves. His cheeks tinge the slightest bit when Chase takes his hand - it would be more noticeable if he were feeding properly, but he still hasn't gotten into that yet. But Allen follows as he's lead, twining their fingers together so he can hold onto Chase's hand as well. That wouldn't be too much, right? ...he hoped not.]

[And they weren't far enough away that Allen couldn't help her if necessary. ♥ See, this is why he wants you feeding more, he misses all the cute blushes if you don't.

The hand hold makes a bit of noise of surprise mostly because tangling their fingers is more of a lover's hold but he doesn't pull his hand free either. Just lifts his hand and Allen's to brush a light kiss to the back of Allen's.]

[Exactly~ He's like a goddamn body guard for that child. ♥ agkjh he'll work on it... kind of...

See, Allen doesn't know its really a lover's hold. Which can be blamed on Lavi - his cluelessness is rubbing off on Allen, for all the more he knows about what might be considered something lovers do, there's a lot he doesn't know that Lavi introduced him to. Like holding hands like this. But he raises an eyebrow - he'd expected to need to help Chase, he just wasn't... sure how to go about doing that.

Though he smiles a small - if awkward - smile at the kiss.]
