Hold on, Seren.
[Chase sighs and plucks his daughter up again from the floor where she kept trying to sit. Placing her on the bed this time the Crow patiently pulls the straps back up on her
romper, socks and shoes went on before she was allowed to get up and run around again.]
How you can still be so hyper this late... [He sighs and rubs at his face, following after her in his wheelchair, hoping that Allen wouldn't be too long. He didn't know how long she'd keep these energy levels going. Allen had said that she didn't need to come but neither of them had seen the girl much during the weeks when the Crow was stuck in that bed.
It was the evening of their first date and for some reason there was this tight feeling in his chest as he went about making sure his daughter looked presentable. Chase had hoped that it would ease as the clock got nearer to the time they had agreed upon but instead it had just gotten worse. He couldn't imagine it being nervousness, what did he have to be nervous about? It's not like they hadn't done this sort of thing during that week, they had, but this was them starting over.
Starting new. Taking things slow.
Perhaps the reason why he was so nervous was because he was afraid that Allen would still reject him. Be it after this date, after the fourth, or just as the redhead asked him to consider (maybe) seeing just Chase. He ran a hand through his hair and let out a heavy sigh, no need to jump ahead of himself, right?
The date hadn't even started yet.]
