[He hisses a little bit. This doesn't look intimidating, the lights are just annoying him.]

You're gonna have to do better than that.

It's just light.

[ except it totally isn't. There's that hideous buzzing. Jimmy narrows his eyes against the flickering light and stalks along the wall, apparently looking for something. ]

[He gives only a passing glance, eyes quickly scanning him from head to toe, answer intentionally delayed.

He turns away, standing in place.]

My point exactly.

[ with his attention firmly fixed on the brick wall beneath the sea of flickering lights Jimmy ignores whatever searching looks are thrown his way. He continues his way along the length of a wall, squinting occasionally as the lights flicker in and out of life. ]

Find a switch or something. This shit is sounding seriously unhappy.

Always hated art.

This is art?

[ This sulky teenager has lived most of her life in the woods, running around moors and small towns. The concept of "modern art" or anything of the like is entirely lost on her. ]

It's completely nonsensical, so it must be.

This isn't anything. This looks like someone doesn't know how to wire lights.

[ perhaps if there'd been a window or a glimpse of sky then Perich might have remained in bird form... but in this flickering semi-darkness he warily keeps to his man skin. The little hairs on his neck are standing on end with every crackle and buzz of electric current; it's unnerving and grating and seriously damaging Perich's cool. Instinctively unwilling to work himself in to a corner he cautiously sticks to the centre of the room and stares balefully in to the shadows, expectant and waiting for something to happen. ]

Perich, Perich! [calls the little fox, scampering in his brother's direction with relief.] I knew I would not be alone.

Femesi! [ his expression breaks out in relief at the sound of his brother but for the briefest of moments there's a flash of jealousy - it's okay for Femesi to flit around in his form with all those paws, fully able to skitter away at a moment's notice - but it's quashed as quickly as it sparks. Perich wouldn't wish his fine feathers away for anything and he even loves his handsome human body, albeit in a lesser capacity. He stretches an appreciative hand out towards the fox brother and lowers his voice to a half-whisper. ] How long have you been here for?

[The fox bumps his head against Perich's hand affectionately with narrowed eyes. He loves all his brothers, even the ones who are too grumpy to reciprocate, and he can't get enough of these gestures.]

I do not know... I might have fallen asleep.

Were you scared, Perich?

[ ow fuck static and haywire electrics give Cambridge one hell of a headache. He grits his teeth and turns his head away from the erratic lighting. ]

What in God's name is going on here?

[ Had the occasion not been wiped from his memories, Oxford might have charmingly slid over to Cambridge and distracted him with chatter about their first meeting, also in an art gallery of sorts. Also rather an unfortunate collection of modern madness. He raises his brows a little, sounding mildly sympathic. ]

Having trouble?

[ hrrrgh more sympathy please ]

[ Cambridge spares Oxford only the briefest of glances between wincing at the static and replying in short, curt tones: ]

Apparently terrible wiring gives me a bastard migraine.

[ Yeah no more sympathy, he's out sympathy'd for the evening already. Oxford rolls his eyes, waving a hand at Cambridge, beckoning him closer. ]

Come here. Let me give something a try, my boy.
