Juggling Classes So originally this quarter I was enrolled in SWE2, CMN152 (Communications - Theories of Persuasion), IRE190 (Seminar in International Relations), POL132 (Nat'l Security Policy) and HIS132 (His. of Crime & Punishment

just remember, for the ENWS (enrolled, no work submitted) option, I am pretty sure (say 80%) that you need to file a petition to get that course ENWSed, otherwise you get an F automatically.
as for the repeating thing: you are only allowed to repeat a class that you recieved lower than, and not including a C- in (so D/F). if you repeat a class you got a C- or above in, only the first grade counts. the second grade will not count for better or for worse.
also there is a petition for dual enrollment... which you'll need for taking that ucla course. i dont know much about that, check with L&S deans office. (davisbob works there)
I don't think there's any paperwork for ENWS, I've done it several times before (maybe I should check those grades eh! jk). Yes what you say about the repeated course is correct - if only I'd had the foresight to fail that class!!
and as to simultenious enrollment, yeah I do it every quarter but it takes forever for it to appear on the records. Well not forever but usually not until after the quarter ended.
I wonder what happens if I'm ENROLLED in 16 units, making me a qualified full time student, but I ENWS one of those classes making me RETROACTIVELY not full time? Sounds like a trick that the less scrupulous could exploit on purpose actually.
"Sounds like a trick that the less scrupulous could exploit on purpose actually." -- my god, has anything ever been so perfectly up your alley?
my vote is that it would be okay -- i think ENWS is for unexpected circumstances, and those happen ... all the time. but i think there is a petition (i think i've seen it done at DBS), and if you have have a lot of ENWSs, they might get suspicious... i'd still do it though. you're a senior.
Speaking of which, are we even friends on myspace?! <--if not, needs to be fixed asap!
I've always wondered who you had to provide sexual favours to to become a "cool new person." And now I know (thanks mysterious stranger!) You should have taken a screen shot of me being cool and new. (=
