It's odd, really. I didn't know what I was missing, all those years of deciding against going to church; I just kept pushing and pushing away from religion, because I was scared of commitment. Then I realised how -stupid- I was. How the heck can I be afraid of commiting myself to he who created me? That's just... as bodoh as bodoh can get

I could almost relate, although I've been jumping from church to church (I've been to a Born-again Christian service where they do "Praise and Worship", I've been baptised by having my whole body immersed in water in another, I've studied the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.) all out of curiosity, but found that Bible study/campus ministry/etc. can be a very, VERY satisfying and focus-giving experience. Well, at least getting high with God is better than getting high on drugs. lol
The only thing I don't like about Christianity is: with focus on worshipping _one_ God and revering _one_ Jesus Christ, why then is Christianity so split up? Couldn't they just...get along and work together? (Just me though...)
Still, continue with what you're doing if it makes you feel better. (And I know that it will.) :-)

Job-hunting issues aside, I'm still doing quite well - at least half the time... My life's kinda spartan lately though - almost no time for posting on CoE or any of the other boards I'm in...or updating my blogs. (Imagine that! No blog update in like, forever!) My life in the anime and Tolkien fandom is gonna be sacrificed for a while. And I've only seen one movie on the big screen in the span of the last few months (Frank Miller's 300). Fun time is a rarity nowadays, but thank God for friends that keep you sane in an insanity-inducing world.
God Bless!
