Admittedly, I'm losing my enthusiasm for the daily updates which is bad since I'm pretty much the only person who had enthusiasm for them. (Is that the patented passive-aggressive LJ cry for attention? Possibly.) But I've realized that the thing about birds is that they're a lot easier to see in the winter when they have little choice but to come

Honestly, I think Eli should quit his job and become an itinerant fence/gate/trellis builder. Shall I send you a copy of his fee schedule?
