Sadly, if I ever *do* have anything about which to write aside from the neverending birds and book listing, it's too late and I'm too tired to write anything intelligent because I've been experiencing whatever that "more interesting" thing might be. Seriously? $600?!??? What kind of will are you making? Is it handwritten in 24K gold ink? Well, sheesh. Did prices truly rise that much in the 7 years since I had mine done? I did get a small discount for being a member of AARP, but not *that* big. My condolences, and sorry for the extra effort not paying off, and geez am I glad I got that out of the way back when I did.

No. Derek said it sounded like a "simple will" which, you know, didn't prepare me for the $600 price tag. I don't think I could be more basic. I did say that I was surprised by the quote since my friend had paid a fraction of that amount and he denied that their rates had gone up all that much in the last seven years. Which is another reason I'm sort of inclined to use the seemingly more straightforward West Seattle people. -em.
