It's another warm day in Seattle and, it seems, the goldfinches don't care for the heat. I did not see any today and that hasn't happened in quite some time. It was generally quiet on the bird front, maybe because of the heat and maybe because I went downtown via car rather than walking to catch a bus or to get home after work and so I missed the ( Read more... )

Any chance of you going to the Talbot's up north? There were some wool blend skirts they were just starting to get in I really really wanted in a four. And these cute skirts with butterflies on them selling for $10, and now that I'm here I wished I'd got one for a friend. Whaddaya think?

I go to the one at Westlake--I'm not sure which is the one up north and I don't remember any $10 skirts. Is there an outlet store that you know about and I don't? -em

Yes indeed - the Talbot's outlet store near Lynnwood mall. It was one of the "must visit' places on my list for my trip to Seattle.
