I don't talk about singies so much lately. Not sure why. But tonight's rehearsal was exceptional

I just hope she doesn't get shipped out for another tour.

She might. I expect to. But once you've been, it's not nearly so scary to contemplate going back.

Yeah. She's Air Force reserves, a nurse with EMT training. Very valuable. She wasn't there long at all, something like five months.

The Army and Marine Corps stay a lot longer than the AF and Navy. IIRC, they only stay about 6 months.

She had a flag dedicated to us that flew over her camp, and brought it home and gifted it to the Chorale. It's going to fly over the Memorial Garden (dedicated to those fallen in war) at our performance hall. It was unbelievably touching.
