Journal postings and a tea party?

Mar 19, 2010 17:58

Would anybody be interested in partaking in high tea?

Obviously, there will be tea included, as well as some scones, crumpets, little finger sandwiches. Maybe some cakes if I can convince the galley for some red velvet cakes.

tea time, the case the curious em, can't sit around all day, livejournaling

It's tea, baby, not a party.

Well, this is something I certainly didn't expect to carry over from home...sure why not. And I think I have a redvelvet cake recipe in the book you gave me...with vanilla cream cheese frosting?

Ooh, that'd be nice. Any suggestions of what kinds of tea are on a ship?

Well, I have a small selection of Vanilla chai, Ti Kuang Yin, jasmine tea, as well as a few herbal and flavored ones. You should really ask Commander Spock though.

He's pretty well versed in tea, I take it? (And yes, there will be a pitcher of sweet tea as well)

I'm going to have to go with your son's initial response and ask why.

For the sake of a tea party. Or, as my genius granddaughter had said, a cultural exchange in regards to tea.
