Christopher and I rambled around the McGill University campus for a little over an hour. I'm very happy he decided against wearing a Hawaiian shirt. One of the things I like about this photo is the fact that he looks like he could be my friend Jerry's great-grandfather, in an image from the 1890s.

A&G Antiques is closing shop
I can't recall if he is the A or G, but I do know that this wonderful man is very sad that he has to close A&G Antiques, the shop he's been running with his son in N.D.G. on Sherbrooke Street (just a few doors down from the Maz bar). My day job as a (jr!) Risk Analyst is pretty dry. I'm lucky that the people I work with are a smart, supportive & funny bunch otherwise I'd be damn near dehydrated. This is what happens when a man buys an ENTIRE set of hockey equipment after not having any equipment for 3 years (he played for 13 years and misses it very much), and then comes home just in time to watch the Canadiens work their magic.
