Aw, what a pretty guy! I agree about cats in boxes. I kept an empty cardboard box in my room for a month once because Thomkins thought it was a catship. He would jump into it and purr, and his purring would make the box vibrate. Whether your friend ultimately reclaims Rascal or not, I hope you three have a good time together.
