Surviving Tropical Storm Erin. Streets are flooded. Raining like crazy. The bayous, which are like channels that run through the city and are the spots that hold overflow are full. Saw the orthopedist yesterday about my foot/ankle ( see 7/4 for details). He was a real jerk. Didn't listen to me about where I was hurting at all. Just manipulated my ankle a little bit. And took a couple of x-rays of my ankle. Too bad my main complaint is MY FOOT. There's a bruise under my pinkie (pinky?) toe and it's painful right along the ( Read more... )

Yahoo sucks. I had a Flickr account which decided to tie itself to my old yahoo ID (why, I'm not sure, and I'm really rather sure I didn't do it myself). I never use the thing. Ever. I have a digital camera!! (Thanks, Heather!) I'm now one step closer to fully incorporating myself into the 21st century technologically. All I need now is an MP3 player. (That's not a hint.)
