I feel terrible

I'm so damn sick right now.  I worked all weekend and Monday, and I started feeling sick Sunday morning, and by Monday I was a train wreck.  I'm just glad I had a half day Monday, because my voice left me later that night.  So right now my plans for the rest of this week is to rest up, get well again and catch up on the last few days of things ( Read more... )

I'm sorry you're sick! Dr. Amberwood prescribes lots of rest, fluids, Mom's chicken noodle soup and a cup of tes with lemon and honey! :)

Oh, and a good book!

Thanks! ♥ That's some good advice, I slept a lot yesterday, and had some soup. I'm going to have some tea in a little bit for my throat, so now I just need a good book! Perhaps I should finally sit down and read Eragon ...

I'm with you on the whole 'masked heroes' thing...and it makes me sad. ;-; I mean, could you imagine something like a Deadpool movie...although that would be completely badass...but I doubt there is an actor who could play a good Deadpool. =/

I hope you feel better! I think half of my f-list is sick! ;-;

I think the worst perpetrator of the not keeping the hero masked in the movie, would be Judge Dredd. My brother used to read the comic back in the day and when the movie came out he had said how Dredd never had his helmet off, but in the movie, you rarely saw Dredd with the helmet on.

A Deadpool movie would be interesting, I'm actually surprised Marvel hasn't started putting one at least in the pre-production phase, I mean they're making a Luke Cage movie, and he doesn't even have his own comic these days.

Thanks! I think I'm turning the corner on this bout of sickness. I think It just hit me really hard because I was so tired from work. >_

oh man, I know! That movie was so bad, but what can you expect from Hollywood? They just don't know how to handle comic books, I think!

Oh man, it would, but I think that he is far less well known than Luke Cage, sadly enough. :(

Yay! I'm so sick myself that I'm just miserable, its awful...

That is so true! I only need to turn to Batman & Robin and I shudder every time. (Although when it came out I was like 11 and didn't mind all the neon stuff or the Batgirl change or the poor casting. lol )

I still need to see Sin City ...

Yeah, Luke Cage was big in the 70s as Power Man? I think that's what his superhero name was. But compared to now ... I think it's a tossup, especially since Luke Cage is really only in New Avengers these days.
