Thanks so much for the writing thoughts, especially the reminder that it really is OK to start in the middle.  I forced myself to start a scene that I've been tossing around in my head for awhile, and getting even a little bit down has me excited to get home and keep going.  I have no idea where in the story it would fall, but at least something's
