Thank you, dear! I was wondering yesterday whether being a December child means being dark, or being merry, and that made me think of you and your dark icon with your merry name.

I'm pretty sure he didn't hear me. As usual.

Thanks for the birthday greetings! Your icon *strains brain* means something about kneading dough...?

Hee! Discworld! \o/

I remember "Nihil anxietas" (or near enough) being carved over the gates to the "Australian" wizard school. Funny guy.

Sorry I missed the chance to wish you greetings on your birthday proper. As someone who occasionally has to gnaw on her fist to keep from saying things in the "out loud voice", I applaud you for your momentary Cordy moment. Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you, ma'am.

The rewards of society really do go to those who gnaw on their fist the longest. Unless they look like Charisma Carpenter. Which...even Charisma Carpenter doesn't do for long.

So yeah, in turning 53, I guess I'm getting to that "When I Am An Old Woman" phase where I speak the truth. When I get to the Estelle Getty phase, someone should put me out of my misery.

You know, I feel like you and I have been back in more regular touch because vampirefan and I have been hanging out online quite a bit, and she mentions you often. We've been having loads of fun.

Thanks for the birthday greetings.

It seems it is too late (in several senses of the phrase) to wish you a happy birthday, but... happy unbirthday, at least!

*shakes fist in general direction of middle-management types*
