Karaoke fail T-T

So today I went to a friend's birthday party, had Mongolian food and did (or attempted) karaoke-ing. It wasn't bad actually.. I sang more than I had in previous karaoke experiences. its like everytime I go K-ing with you you're always like soooo soft and quiet. Then when you sing choir stuff you're like full and round...

Um...It's the vowels isn't it? In pop, you have to sing it like you're speaking, so that's why you keep using a throat voice. But with Japanese, it's mostly actually pretty much all long vowels, so you can sing like how they teach you to sing in choir. xDD Just a theory. xDD

I'm not sure if it works like that lol.. but I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with the vowels, I find it easier to let out my voice when I sing in exaggerated vowels
