The winners have been announced and none of my favorite authors won. Why? Because the awards were totally dominated by SS/HG. I'd be willing to bet that the AD/MM and the SS/MM stories that were nominated weren't even read by half the people who went to the site because no one wants to believe that AD and MM can be sexual, and the only female SS ( Read more... )

The Restricted Section, www.restrictedsection.org, is a thinly-disguised fan club for Ladyofthemasque, whose opinion of herself defies polite description. Arrogant, much? Pathetic...

The AD/MM proboard now has fiction posting guidelines. I wonder if Taylor will now leave that group in a huff the way she left the Yahoo group. One can only hope...

This still doesn't solve the ginger newts and her toadies problem, but at least the mods are showing a little backbone now.

You know, some people take HP Fandom way too seriously. I frequently wonder if J. K. Rowling is amused or horrified by it all? Or perhaps she's grateful that she has a life...

It seems as though all of the HP RPGs on Live Journal are also chat-based. I would prefer an exclusively journal-based game. Something in which Minerva writes in her journal, and the other characters comment on it, and so on. Maybe that's too simple, though...
