Wow. So sad and bleak, but I can't be sad that Mick and Josef get to survive for that much longer. I don't blame the camp that Beth was a part of for doing that. I wouldn't want to keep living like that either.

Wonderful job with such a depressing storyline :)

Thanks so much, I was a little worried about this one, I know you asked for post apocalyptic road trip, but it just turned mega angsty, and then kept on going.

Interesting story, and to see Josef and Mick in that kind of situation. I couldn't help thinking right from the start, that Mick wasn't even doing these people a favor by leaving them to live and die a horrible way. I have a feeling I'll be thinking about this story for awhile, the scenario really makes one ponder a lot of things. Really highlights how much humans and vampires are interdependent: without us, they can't survive either. There are so many ideas to be explored within this scenario.

I wish I could say it would inspire me to do some writing of my own... This is sort of how Shane will end up being King of Norway with Josef has his military General. ;) Having to step in and keept the humans from destroying the earth. But of course that's only possible when you have enough advanced warning.

Thanks for commenting, I felt like I was taking a bit of a chance with this piece. I started writing it, and then it just sort of took of in it's own direction (with my Josef muse guiding things along the way of course, he's still pretty active).

I miss JayShay, it'd be great to see some new ML slash fics from you, but I understand things are difficult at the moment, and writing is supposed to be fun and creative, not feel like a chore. I do like that scenario you mentioned as well :D
