OH SWEDISH. WHY SO AWESOME. XD 'Wart yard.' And also, yes, possessive pronouns in English can get a wee bit confusing, so usually in cases like that it's necessary to use proper nouns. *shrug* What can you do, eh?

I was kind of disappointed with the book itself, but fic of The Magus would be SO AMAZING.

Haha, oh god, I am such a language nerd. The more I think about breast warts and wart yards, the more hilarious and terrifying it gets. And yeah. You just have to live with the pronouns. I think that's one of the parts of language that is the least likely to change. Hmph.

My personal favourite has got to be Verlan because it's so damn confusing. We tried to learn it in my French class, and it was waaay over our heads. One of those things that can't be learned without immersion, I guess. I also like Gaelic and Welsh, mostly because they make no sense to me and are therefore interesting. Like, Welsh. Get some vowels, lol.

Verlan! So funny and so confusing. My favourite is "meuf". And also "chelou". My French Prof made us read a poem all in Verlan, a modernist version of a fable, I think. Mindboggling.
I've heard so little Gaelic and Welsh, but they seem interesting. Have you heard/seen any Finnish? Like: have some vowels. Add a lot of consonats in a row. Make really long words.
