With the tension finally gone Dean felt just drained and with another yawn he crawled under the covers not much later. The bed was as comfortable as it looked and it was almost as comfy as his memory foam mattress at home.

I'm starting to wonder how this going to end. I don't dare hope they'll get to keep luck this good, but I'm sure that Mac will leave them with something positive and permanent before he goes.

They deserve something good but you're right they're never allowed to keep it in canon. Wait and see how close to canon I'm going to stay ...

I'm enjoying this story a lot. This chapter was fun. Dean is going to have to view every good thing differently -- was it Mac-induced 'luck' or just plain old luck?
