I wonder if there's a school in the world that people feel perfectly challenged and happy in. I'm feeling very disgruntled with American higher education right now. It's morbidly expensive for what I get out of it (which is pretty much just an ego inflation.)

well, there is this school called new college, it lets everyone learn whatever they desire and has a more laid back approach to their teaching methods. and it's pretty damned affordable...

...but everyone wants the right university acronyms to grace their resumes and diplomas.
