Ugh. Changing journals is hard work.

Here's something I've learned.

Requests should be phrased as a statement rather than a question.

Example.

INCORRECT:

"Bob, could you take a look at these documents if you happen to have a chance at some point?"

CORRECT:

"Bob, please look at these documents today."

The same request but one is far more likely to spawn results.

OH NO WAIT I DIDN'T READ THE WHOLE THING!
