Gacked from katzedecimal1) Pick one of my characters. If you can't remember names, a vague description will do, as long as it's enough to jog my memory

1) Ahh, my longest-running OC. As of 2006, she's 28 years old and counting. Real time. She's been with me for over half my life.
2) Her name was originally Melody. That's right, she started out as Mark's sister in Battle of the Planets. As soon as I learned about Gatchaman, I started looking for a Japanese name for her. Originally her name was "Miya", which means "shrine", but over the years it evolved into "Miyae", which means "eight-fold beauty". Miya has counterparts in all the Western flavors of Gatch: In G-Force she's Angelica Goodheart, and in Eagle Riders she's Hunter's estranged sister, Scarlet Harris, who never appears

1) Somehow I just knew you were going to ask about the pink-haired chick. XD
2) Cherry's Korean name is Mun Chae-ri. "Mun" means "gate" and is a fairly common surname in Korea. "Chae-ri" is written with Chinese characters which mean something like "strange-looking" or "wonderful colors" or whatever. And yes, Chae-ri is a real Korean name.
3) Cherry Moon is an AU clone of Cherry Flame, longtime kisekae star, who originated in Ranma 1/2 fandom but quickly became a net star in her own right. She's appeared in other people's fanfic and in graphics and avatars all over the Web. The newest incarnation isn't Japanese, but Korean

Uhm, in #4, about Cherry's mother, that should read "[Cho-na] will NOT talk about her Japanese heritage". Sorry about that. Oh, and her Japanese name was Junko.
Of course I was going to ask about Cherry. Although, I almost asked about Pru. XD;;
Question time!
1. What's Cherry's favorite thing about her powers? 2. What does Cherry hate the most about her powers? 3. Will Cherry ever find out about her Japanese heritage on her mother's side? (Don't worry, Vanora won't say a word!) 4. We know Cherry is smart; what's her best subject? 5. Does Cherry play any musical instruments (other than her lovely singing voice, of course XD)? 6. What's Cherry's favorite color? 7. Is that girl ever going to stop skulking around the BB and actually JOIN the Fantastic Four(Five?)? 8. Who is Cherry's favorite singer or band? 9. What will Cherry's reaction be when Sonny's powers emerge? 10. Ravelight? XD
1) I'm not at all sure she exists in any universe you inhabit (I know she doesn't reside in 616), but as you wish. ^.^
2) Miry's family name, Kagami, means "mirror" in Japanese, of course. Miriko means "beautiful child of glass". Make of that what you will.
3) I created Miry in 1991 for an X-Men GURPS campaign. A long-running campaign, a fanfic, a customized doll, and a KiSS set arose from her existence.
4) Miry's family, Clan Kagami, are the ancient arch-enemies of Clan Yashida. That might be why Miry's the last Kagami left. She carries the hilt of her ancestral sword, the Taisho (Old General). Through it she channels a kigatana, or soul sword.
5) Since Miry's healing powers make her more or less unaging, she and Logan are probably going to be together for a loooooong time. ^.^
6) Yes, she's a natural redhead. :B Next?
7) Miry isn't a normal tiny skinny Japanese girl--after all, she's half Canadian French. She's an inch shorter than Wolvie at 5'2", and she's a size 18 petite.
Well, you never know when you'll be gallivanting across parallel universes and in need of a good hand, aye?
On with the questions, then!
1. Is she a--Oh, awright, then! Guess that clears up any questions about that! 2. You mention a soul sword and a healing power... What exactly are Miry's powers? 3. Is she a very powerful mutant (i.e. "Omega class" or "class 5") along the lines of other X-Men such as Jean Grey? What exactly are the extent of her powers? 4. Will or has Miry ever experienced the dreaded "second mutation" that gave so many 616-universe mutants secondary abilities (diamond-form for Emma, feline-esque appearance for Hank, etc)? 5. A size 18 petite? Is Miry very muscular/athletic? 6. What happened to the rest of Miry's family? 7. If Logan didn't exist, who do you think Miry would wind up romantically involved with, and why? 8. Who is Miry's best friend? 9. What does Miry like to do out of uniform (hobbies, etc)? 10. Any little Logans or Mirys running around in the happy couple's future?
1) Ahh, Gina Giovanni, aka Sakaki Sayuri. Only wrote one fic about her, but I did a bunch of pictures for her back when I was into Pokemon.
2) Both of the character names--Gina and Sayuri--are meant to go with the respective names of the original main villain of Pokemon, Giovanni/Sakaki.
3) I made Sayuri up for random Pokemon roleplay with my roommates. These weren't organized games, but just spur-of-the-moment improvisations. Although Sayuri has not made many appearances, she does have her own website!
4) Sayuri went to a very select seminary school for young ladies. She spent a lot of time in the haunted belltower, where she befriended an extremely powerful Haunter. She did not exactly capture him; she made friends with the lonely ghost Pokemon, named him Harley, and they set out on an adventure together.
5) Harley is a very powerful Haunter, and he can shapeshift. He begins to take on human form and poses as Sayuri's "bodyguard" while she's out hunting Pokemon. Other Pokemon react very, very badly to Harley for reasons their
