What inspires you to move? To take action? To fall and not hesitate in standing up all over again?

I'm heading to the upper level. If anyone needs me to pick up anything, ask.

the sky waits for you

Do you mean Hera?

That creature will never be my God. She is merely a poor imitation of my own.

...To still have faith in a God outside of the world you're in. Admirable.

I'd think there's a certain degree of danger to living for others like that.

There's danger in everything you can or can't do here, though

True enough. So what defines strength?

Sheer will. Desire for the things I want, and to keep the things I have.

If you want progress, I'm guessing your will is strong enough to compel action. But what happens when you reach a setback? Does it break through that motivation?

When I reach a setback, I look at what I'm doing and try something different. I adapt. Learn the rules, to work around or break them.

Adaptation is an important skill. Sometimes it's the difference between living and dying.

Adaptation, evolution, progress. It's the key to growth; maybe even the "redemption" we're supposed to be seeking.

You know, I'm not sure I have an answer to that question just yet. My dad and all of my teachers would probably tell me that its okay, since I'm only seventeen. But now that I've been here for a while and have met so many people around the same age as me, I don't think it's a good thing I can't answer.

Not everyone finds their reason to fight early. And even then, it can change. You're probably right that it's not necessarily a good thing to be unsure, but I imagine so long as you're willing to find motivation, that's a good start. I'm just tired of apathy.

I think I'm just afraid of realizing my reason. I'm too selfish for it to be anything good.

Having selfish motivations doesn't always mean you won't get something positive done. I've always considered wanting to protect someone else, for instance, to be somewhat selfish.
