What inspires you to move? To take action? To fall and not hesitate in standing up all over again?

I'm heading to the upper level. If anyone needs me to pick up anything, ask.

the sky waits for you

You know, I'm not sure I have an answer to that question just yet. My dad and all of my teachers would probably tell me that its okay, since I'm only seventeen. But now that I've been here for a while and have met so many people around the same age as me, I don't think it's a good thing I can't answer.

Not everyone finds their reason to fight early. And even then, it can change. You're probably right that it's not necessarily a good thing to be unsure, but I imagine so long as you're willing to find motivation, that's a good start. I'm just tired of apathy.

I think I'm just afraid of realizing my reason. I'm too selfish for it to be anything good.

Having selfish motivations doesn't always mean you won't get something positive done. I've always considered wanting to protect someone else, for instance, to be somewhat selfish.

How is wanting to protect someone else selfish?

If you put yourself in harm's way to help someone, you could end up hurting them as well. When you're so afraid of losing someone, you won't let them get lost. It does have to do with the degree of your feelings, but every good-intentioned desire can be selfish.
