I have done a second video
which is now up at my youtube page (I wish someone would take pity on my and comment or something at youtube, but probably none of you are weird enough to have set up a youtube account), but you don't need to go there... because I'm posting it here!

Purpose? ars gratia artis I say. Actually there is a line of argument that says that anything that actually has a purpose cannot be art so who knows?

Fascinating to hear your voice by the way - can't place the accent at all plus if I had to guess your age just by the voice, I'd have gone for late twenties. I'm going to try to organise myself into creating an account on YouTube some day soon.

well when I was in my late 20s and would answer the phone the caller would ask if my Mother was home....
seriously, I don't try to sound young, that was just me mumbling and rambling all regular.

I understand that I had a Boston accent when I was 12 yrs old and moved to Colorado, but people there aren't really thought of as having specific accents... and I've lived in Washington, DC, Iowa, and now California a lot... so I don't think I've got much of an accent (for the US, which is VERY different from a British way of speaking).

I commented.

I love it actually. I enjoyed your commentary. It is great to hear your voice and I second wildigitals remark that your voice sounds youngish. It´s a nice accentuated voice I think.

I like the ceramic. I am always a bit creeped out by faces on objects, but it is very impressive.

Yeah, ancientgirl is creeped out by faces (or maybe just masks) too, but somehow it is what really fascinates me. I have no use for making anything that isn't human....

Well, I have proof sat on my side table that you have exceptions to that rule!

oh well Daleks are the exception to EVERY rule! I love Daleks... and I have one on my own shelf (actually I have two toy plastic ones in addition to my own hand made...)
Dalek Dalek Dalek I made it out of clay
and when it's dry and ready then it will EXTERMINATE!
(they've never learned to rhyme)

and I stole that song from the Hanukkah song collection, it is really about dradles....

That's awesome! Well, the piece is very interesting, the hand over the face is quite funny, and then hearing your voice is great! I love that you're sharing your art with us. Please keep it up!

my new iMac makes it easier for me to download the short videos my digital camera can take... and makes it easier to put them up at youtube... so I will, probably, do this a lot (even though it is very silly)
computers are fun, but making things out of clay is even funner.

I think it's awesome! I have some vids I took with my digital camera, but I have no idea how to do anything with them except play them on WMP.

It's wonderful when you get to do something you love, isn't it?

well it has been kind of a revelation to me, I always I thought that I loved painting & drawing, but in fact I have been getting more pleasure from the clay...
I don't know why.
