Oh, Snowflake is really beautiful. i really like the blue metallic ones you make. I've lately become fond of the color blue.

thanks - it is funny, I end up with a lot of unintended blues (from Brocade which should have more rust in it) and greens (from copper, which should be more copper colored)...but it doesn't mean the pieces aren't pretty, they just aren't what I expected.

I am definitely not sick of doing this, so I signed up for the next class...which starts Jan 11th.

I'm glad you found something you love doing so much.

Are you going to stick with masks or are you going to try other things?

I know you have mask issues... (and you are getting something totally non-mask for Christmas!) but I just find I am more interested in the human face than anything else. I love forming the bone structure and the lips and eye lids.... There is something endlessly fascinating and fulfilling about the whole face thing for me.

I like the lips on Aztec but they're all good really.

yes, I was on purposely getting into the sensuous lips, I'm happy you noticed.... I particularly love the little folds at the corners of the mouth. It is funny, the clay is so soft it is easy to get the desired effect, but when it is all glazed and fired then it is cold and brittle (I've been trying to find ways to hint at the softness in a way that will last through the process).
