OMG, I feel sorry for you (;_;) (Canadian post works on sundays ? that's at least a good thing xD). I really hope you won't be hit custom fees on your big LP... Did you order your AP JSK with a SS ? If so, you should have asked them to mark down the value on the package, because marking it as "gift" doesn't work all the time, especially for package with big values (they understood the "gift" trick a long time ago ^^'). I know it not very legal to mark down the value of your package, but as long as there's no receipt in your package or price tag on your items, they won't be able to tell their value, so it's a way not to be caught by customs ;).

No, I didn't DX I really should have :( I ordered it straight through the AP site. I read some reviews and a lot of people (not in Europe) said that they just about NEVER get hit by customs, so that's why I thought I'd be safe.
I'm DEFINITELY going to use a SS next time if I decide to get anything >__> cut off all the tags and everything.. sigh :( I thought that customs officers would be more lax during the holidays, but I'm starting to think the complete opposite now. they may be using it as an excuse to tax the hell outta everything because everyone wants their things before xmas! how horrible :C

That's what I did when I pre-ordered my Antoinette Fleur from MM, and since I wanted to keep the MM tag (my preciiiouus *o*), I asked my SS to send it to me in a separate envelope :). No, no, they're more active in this period because they know they can get a lot more money since people order on Internet more than usual... Anyway, let us know if your IW package manages to avoid custom fees !

I think they just do it randomly?? @_@ I mean, my package wasn't even opened or anything, so I guess they must've just been like "oh this looks expensive here! let's tax it!" =_=; I got a diff package a few days prior, declared for a higher value, about 10x the size of the bag the dress was sent in, and nothing happened :|

I honestly can't remember @_@ sorry if I got the wrong person;; but just a heads up if you're really interested- come 2013, I won't be taking commissions anymore. I may take an occasional commission, but I've decided it really isn't what I want to preoccupy myself with all the time ;--;

I honestly had forgotten about the email for a bit and then once I remembered I was so embarrassed that I'd forgotten to reply that I never did... ;o; I'm the worst, aaah, sorry!! ;; I would still be absolutely interested in commissioning them (and.. possibly a couple others... aah I'm terrible) from you if you had the time and would be willing to make a buttload of stuff for me, though... XD;;

I've had like a hundred people just send me an email with Q's, and I'm totally ok with it!! I love to answer regarding anything- commissions or just plain old advice on plushing!! It just shows that people are interested and that in itself makes me sooo happpy ;u; yea of course! Someone from the comm is actually commissioning me for 9 plushies, so I have no problem with large orders, lol :P Just keep in mind that I have a small waiting list formed, and I won't be able to start any of your plush until I have some of those finished~~
YEAA I KNOW XDDDD My sleeping pattern is pretty messed up, so I wouldn't be surprised if I slept for like 15 hours or something, but a whole day? I'd have to slap myself a few times if that happened >_____>

I'm about 1K in debt on my credit card right now too and I'm crazy stressed about it. =__=;; But at least it will be super easy for you to get commissions since your plush are just about the cutest things ever (I adore my Sableye)! Hopefully you don't need to go to your last resort though~ I'm sure everything will work itself out. :)
Really? That's what you have to do in Canada :( You can pay in cash, and if you don't have the EXACT amount, they don't give you change, or you can pay with CC. If you can't pay immediately, they don't give you the package and you have to go to the post office another day to pay for it =_=

we are in-debt buds <3 :P I hope so too! Now that I'm thinking about it, I will probably try to get a part timer. I really don't think I'll be able to pay it off in time unless I borrow some money or dip into my savings (which is strictly reserved for school/ emergencies related to my doggy). There's a thrift store really close to where I live, and I would really love to work there, since it'd mean I get first dibs on all the goodies! :P
Ahh, that would be awesome if you could get that job at the thrift store!! 0: What are you going to school for, if you don't mind me asking? :3c And what kind of doggy do you have?! :'D
