The other day my macbook pro's display never turned on from being asleep. I tried somethings and no luck. Called up apple and ended up having to take it to a store. Aw man, that sucks about your computer! D: It's so frustrating when the only thing that isn't working is the freaking display. I hope they can fix it again and that it sticks this time.

As for the ear piercing thing, I recommend putting Neosporin or Bactine on it pretty often until you can get to the doctor. Neosporin might be best since it doesn't wear off as fast. Hopefully it's nothing and the doc will just give you some kind of cleaner stuff.

no! neosporin is bad! It helps to heal and you don't want your skin to heal over your piercing.

What I did in india when my piercing was getting all... iffy... was that I either bathed it in a salt solution (but not too much salt or it gets worse - if the store gave you a solution, thats what it is so use that) or put listerene on it (stings like a bitch but very effective. and minty). When I got it I had someone with me who had had a bunch of piercings so I felt that she could handle anything that went wrong with it. I just really got a Q-tip and some listerene and went to town on that sucker.

okay, enough rambling. Although, I would also suggest listerene for your other problem... or maybe holy water.... yes, and a salt circle.
