Movies: Project Cloverfield & Speed Racer

It's been a while since I wrote a review... and this isn't really going to be one. I'm too sick to write them all that well. However, since I've been putting off the first one for so long, I might as well combine them into one review

Actually, you're not disagreeing with the masses. The critics pretty universally panned Speed Racer. It's got only a 36% at Rotten Tomatoes.

It only made $20 million.

Oddly, the direction, camera work, and editing were what I most loved about the movie. Ah well. Different strokes.

Really? Huh. I thought it was doing better than that. I wonder what I had heard, beyond my local friends and yourself, that made me think otherwise. I know that I'm the only one of my friends that hasn't liked Speed Racer.

I've heard good things about speed racer from a friend's 5 year old, so maybe you're just not the right target demographic. sorry to hear that you've been ill!
