Woot. Many thanks to edamame for the hints and links. *dances* I've ripped out the 50 rows that I had done of the original Wizard Scarf that Lion Brand did, mimicking the Gryffindor scarf, mostly because the amount of curling was really really annoying. Glad to have helped. :)

I love knitting in the round, glad you're enjoying it too. I find circular needles much easier to handle, so I even use them for flat knitting now. I bought a set of Denises and I use them for everything now; they are an awesome set and they get consistently good reviews. If you are at all interested, you can sometimes pick them up for slightly cheaper at elann.com.

Also, if you're not already reading knitting, you might want to start. I've learned more from that community than from any of my books. :)

Oh, nifty. I have the Boye version of interchangable needles, but they aren't as nice as those. The cords are thinner and the needle heads are metal, so they probably wouldn't be as easy to get through the airport. (However, I did get them as a pressie, so I can't complain.)

I'm in a couple other communities that have been helping, but I'll certainly try that one, too. I haven't posted to the ones that I'm in because I prefer going to my friends before I go to the communities. My friends just have such cool suggestions and all. :)
