Got some more detail sculpted into her. I decided to do the feet after the first firing to get their relation to the burnt tree just so. SHe'll go in for the first firing tomorrow, then hopefully I can get her feet done, fire them Monday night, hands sculpted Tuesday, baked Wednesday.....

Another insanely busy weekend is upon me! Last night we saw Cloud Cult at Lehigh University. They were fantastic. They left some storm clouds behind for us though. It is a grey dreary day here. Stayed home today from work....though not planned. I was in transit, thankfully not far from home when the front end of the exhaust system fell down. What a noise! I got a bit further with her yesterday. This latest batch of clay is much more difficult to condition than usual. i may check it and hope the next bar is better. I met Andrew Steed and Susan Faucon a few years ago at the Spoutwood Farm Fairie Festival. Andrew is a celtic shaman, Susan his "soul mate" is a beautiful singer and assists people in healing from all manner of things.
