Queen Annis is too cool for this world. I'd like to think that she was impressed by Gwen. Maybe, just maybe, once Gwen is queen this temporary alliance can become permanent.

God this was just a great chapter for Gwen and A/M! I just love how you portray the great strength and wisdom Gwen possesses.

And finally Merlin helping Arthur figure out where Gwen was was great! You're great at writing the banter and yet the underlying trust they have with each other.

Naww I'm sad that this fic is nearly ending, yet I can't wait to read the next/ final part!

It was definitely one of my favorite to write because it concentrated on Gwen/Annis and A/M. I love Gwen's strength on the show so that's just what I try to put in my writing. She's almost always strong. It's just that sometimes her scenes are so short so it's fun to expand in fic.

Ah, thanks. You know I love the A/M friendship and I'm glad you enjoy it a lot too because it makes putting it in this fic even more enjoyable for me. I just think for as much as they tease they have a friendship bordered on trust.

Hee, the next part was fun to write too. I'm glad you've enjoyed this story.

I'm liking this very much. I liked Queen Annis, her quiet regal bearing and her ability to look beyond. I think she would have indeed like Gwen and thought these things of her.

I also want to comment of Elyan's injury, you made it *real*. I mean he bled, as one would with an injury. In the last ep as Isdole laid dying in Trisdan's arms we never saw a drop. True Merlin is meant to be family friendly but you would have thought when she turned to face him after be slashed she would have at least looked at her bloody hand for effect. Sometimes I find this counter productive because the seriousness of what they were doing...fighting for their lives may be viewed as just a game by someone young.

But this is JMO.

Ok, the dialogue between Guinevere and Queen Annis was EPIC! :))
I loved every single line of it. really, Brava! :D
You've done a really good job portraying Queen Annis, a strong and wise woman who married the king for true love.
Plus I love the fact that she could easily tell the love Guinevere has towards Arthur, "after you’ve been in love, you can spot it quite easily." love it!
Guinevere was really brave, with the knife and all.
And good job Merlin for figuring out where she's going.

The best part was when she said "Wouldn’t want anything to happen to the possible future queen of Camelot, would we?” i suddenly smiled when i read that line. I think she admires Guinevere, for her courage and the way she speaks... like a true queen.

Again, compliments. You're extremely brilliant for writing such dialogues and thoughts. really. :)

Cool! Great to hear because it was crucial to me that the Annis/Gwen scene came across realistically and strongly.

I loved Annis so much! The actress playing her was so good so that's a huge part of why I wanted to write this.

Isn't worried Arthur just the best? hee. We need more of him on the show. Just a little bit.
Oh thanks for pointing out that quote. I liked how it sounded when writing, but you never know how someone else will feel. So thanks! And yeah, I was going for that. Basically she saw things in Gwen to respect and admire.

I know, they would have been so awesome on the show! Now that Gwen is queen, I want scenes like that for her, meeting with royalty and everything. I can just see her as this real strong queen with her own storyline that is apart from Arthur. I so want that!
