A) Uzumaki (the movie) is a great way to swear off snails for life.

a) I haven't seen it, but I know what happens. I saw pictures from the manga where the townspeople turn into snails ... oh, gah.

b) YEAH! I never really played Generation II (I got stuck with a bunch of fake copies that had mangled English ... this is why I'd rather import my games), so this is like a completely new game to me!

Regarding Uzumaki.. I find it a little unsettling but entertaining nonetheless.. especially when I watch it on low low volume. And yup, some images will definitely stay in your mind for a looong loong time, ahaha! I mean the guy in the washing machine and the hit-by-truck scene. The man-to-snail is just ok...

Eep, the man in the washing machine. Besides that, what's putting me off from reading the manga is the part where the man's wife wants to rid herself of every spiral in her body, including her cochleas. Argh!

I didn't know you were a Pokémon fan too! Yeah, I'm liking it so far, though the level-grinding is taking up way too much time.

Oh yar, that... Hang in there, yar? You got time to spare, bwhaha! Oh, do you feel that saving the game takes a longer time in this version compared to all previous ones? Or is it just my pirated version's fault? Hmm....

Btw, you interested to attend Sumathii's 21st B-day party on 6 June?

Haha, that's true. But I don't know, I feel like I'm not experiencing much of the story, since I spend 3/4 of my time levelling up Pokémon. It takes me about an hour or so to train my Pokémon, and ten minutes to defeat a Gym Leader and do whatever side-quests I've to do before moving on to the next town. It's wholly disproportionate, LOL. I think part of the problem is that all the wild Pokémon available at this point are so weak, which is why it's taking me longer to train. But I'm almost nearing the end! The Pokémon shouldn't be so low-levelled (between 10 and 20) at this point! /rant

I find the saving time much shorter than it was on my Pearl and Platinum. But yeah, it is reportedly longer than the previous generations, genuine game or not.

Yup! I've already told her I'll be attending. How 'bout you?
