My baby Iris bloomed several weeks ago but yesterday two of the full sized ones are now in bloom. And with this sudden surge in hot weather your plants (and mine) should take off.

Btw, how do you feel about beets? Love em, hate em?

Well, good. If you find some mysterious packages by your front gate during the month of June don't be surprised...

Lovely flowers, handsome doggies.

Hope it stays fair where you are--I just had to rescue my tomatoes from walnut-sized hail here.

Hail! Yipes! We get it every once in a while, but it's pretty rare here.

I've finally got the Vinca transferred to my window boxes, so you'll be able to see 'em this weekend. They were the flowers that survived my "benign neglect" of last year, so I'm hoping they'll do so again this year.

I had quite a nice vinca in a basket on my old laundry poll last year or the year before. They are nice and drought hardy.

Looking forward to seeing your flowers, shelves and floors. I'd say "tomorrow" if it was just 10 minutes later. But for now, it's still "day after tomorrow." :-)

I'm kinda braindead right now, so the only comment I can make is "Ooh, pretty !"
