That looks beautiful, Els! I'm jealous. Congrats on surfing, too cool. You and Wil are adorable. :)

It was great fun! (Also, for me, surfing = falling *g*) Hee, well, sometimes we are.

It was tons of fun!

(Oh - and how was DragonCon? Did I miss a post from you about that when I was catching up?)

Great photos. The one in front of the helicopter, with the "thumbs up", cracks me up!

Good job on the suring. I am pretty sure I wouldn't be able to stand up at all, let alone three times and being able to travel some distance.

Wil was glad to see that you liked the thumbs up - it was his idea. Mostly, I wobbled and fell a lot. That co must have really fast cameras!

Thanks for sharing! Hawaii is so beautiful. Did your Big Island chopper fly over the active lava flows? I was bummed I didn't do that, I bet it was fabulous. Look at you, practically hanging ten, woohoo!

Looking forward to seeing you and Wil- say hi!

The above ground flows were on the wrong side of the park to fly over - we did see some flowing underground where some of the crust had fallen in and we also got to see it meeting the sea.

Hanging ten, BWAH!!

Wil says 'Hi' back. He is already contemplating what to drink that weekend.

Thanks! It's really hard to NOT have a blast there. That temple was just gorgeous and in such a beautiful setting, too. You should have seen some of the spectacular faceplants into the Pacific I had!
